After studying Romance Languages and Philosophy, Dick Veerman worked for many years as a consultant in the field of strategy and marketing. In 2005 he founded Foodlog. He thinks it is important that more people know what role the production, processing and sale of food can play for – or against – our interests. Meanwhile, his Foodlog aims to be the place where society’s “strategic conversation” about the future of food and nutrition in the 21st century can take place.
