Humphrey Geiseb

Humphrey Geiseb, High Commissioner of the Republic of Namibia to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, arrived in Nigeria in February 2019 and presented credentials to H.E Muhammadu Buhari in April 2019. He is accompanied by his wife Lena Geiseb, one son and one grandson. High Commissioner Geiseb is a senior foreign service official of Namibia with 25 years service in Namibia’s foreign service.

He has served in Namibia’s Diplomatic Missions in Moscow, Addis Ababa, Brussels and Beijing. He also served for over 3 years as Special Assistant to the Adv. Bience Gawanas, former Commissioner of Social Affairs at the
African Union in Addis Ababa.

He is working with a team of two Namibian Diplomats in Abuja at the Namibia High Commission to promote, strengthen and deepen the long standing friendship and relations between Namibia and Nigeria.

High Commissioner is also the non-resident concurrent Ambassador of Namibia to Chad and Non-resident High Commissioner to Cameroon. High Commissioner Humphrey Geiseb has Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Degree from University of Free State in South Africa.

He is married with 6 children.
