Tosin Dabiri

A seasoned banker and now the CEO of Collargig, an online work marketplace created to empower African freelancers by connecting them with clients from all over the world for short term work. She is actively involved in the development and coordination of all aspects of the company which has contributed to the growth of Collargig’s African freelance community from 200 to 5,000 freelancers, having a good percentage already connected with the global clients we have on board. She is instrumental in the growth of Collargig to become a leading global platform for freelancers and clients.

She has a decade worth of experience garnered from a variety of departments during her stint at leading financial institution Guaranty Trust Bank. As a Relationship Manager in the Institutional Banking divi,sion she was responsible for managing corporate banking relationships across various capital intensive industries. In this role, she was responsible for managing million dollar telecommunication corporate organizations and structuring multi-million dollar facilities for the corporate’s capex deployment projects. During her time in the E-business group, Tosin was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Dollar Credit Card Product for the bank.

At Purple Group, a real estate development and financing company, she was the Head of the Alternative Funding and Investor Relations responsible for raising both equity & debt for the firm’s flagship retail development, The Maryland Mall.

At VFD plc, a financial-services focused proprietary investment company she was the Head of Institutional Funding and Investor Relations, she was instrumental in developing and coordinating the company’s institutional funding strategy.

Tosin has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business
