Today’s pillar spotlight is Power, Infrastructure & Energy (PIE), the enablement layer behind Africa’s infrastructure deficit.
Over 600 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa still live without electricity. That is over 80 percent of the global energy deficit. Mission 300 aims to connect 300 million people by 2030, and over 50 million have been connected so far. Closing that gap will take private capital, reliable grids, and policy investors can trust.
Factories, cities, and digital businesses cannot scale on unreliable power. PIE puts investors and operators in the same room as the governments planning the next decade of infrastructure.
If your organisation works in power, infrastructure, energy, energy financing, and you’d like to explore what a PIE partnership looks like, reply to this email or reach out to ifunanya.nduka@africabusinessconvention.com.
